Nothin, not a word at all

 

Is anyone else in Albuquerque experiencing a power outage? We are around Candelaria, San Mateo area

 

We had a drop and come right back up. Cell dropped too. Very slow service and home internet is still down....

 

Ours has been out for about 30 minutes so far. Gonna go explore the outside see the extent of it

 

We have power in RR. Flickered several times. No internet since before the power went down though.

 

Hour 1; the power is still out. don't venture outside. Wrecks everywhere. We did a little loop up Candelaria (out until Louisiana) drove over to the mall (mall is fine, uptown is out), the signals on Louisiana are out as well near the mall.
We decided to gorge ourselves on food while it's still good. Getting worried on where we will find our next meal. Might have to resort to eating the pets. Then maybe each other.. It's a shame. I really do like my pet fish and will miss my dog

 

Took the family to chilis last week, power went out after ordering, sat there for half an hour thinking they were making the food in gas ovens, nope, just let us sit there for half an hour before telling us they couldn't cook.

 

That sucks! One time we were at Bucca and we were about finished eating when the power went out. We didn't have cash so we waited an hour and half until the power came back on to pay with card. Realized how it's good to carry some cash around after that

 

Yep, they were issuing hand written receipts for cc customers. Very funny since nobody does it anymore. We got soft drinks and guacamole on the house so we didn't starve.

 

Well that's good you got something!

So power outage is due to a fire at a transfer station. Well fuck. This won't be fixed anytime soon.

 

Any of you amazing folks have a V8 4Runner!? Want to drive one. Entertaining for the Taco replacement.

 

Also check into "LoJack". It is a tracker type of product that we (Officers) can track live. So for instance.....car gets stolen, Officer is called and part of the duty by the Officer is to put the vehicle into the NCIC system. NCIC is a national database for stuff (veh's, stolen property w/serial numbers, missing people, etc.) But we have a limited time to put it in the system. If the vehicle is equipped with LoJack, then as soon as the NCIC operator gets the vehicle into the system it registers with the LoJack system and activates the tracker. Any of the Officers equipped with the system get a hit in their vehicle and can then track it through the city and locate it. Hopefully with someone inside it.

 

I wouldn't be opposed to selling my Tacoma to you. we have been looking for something bigger to pull the camper and all that. I actually have a buddy that has the V8 4Runner. I'll see if he would let you take it for a cruise to see how it feels.

My truck is new, but I'd also unload it if the price was right. I'm sure you'd get a better deal somewhere else, but I'm here if you want to give me money!

Hope there hasn't been any soup kitchens or anything like that in there. You'll never get the smell out.

 

Was involved in multiple reported crimes all over Albuquerque. Was involved in a few crashes.

There is a mask, knife, bat, drugs and some other stuff in the truck. All I know right now.

 

DAMN !! I don't which is worse finding it like that or not at all. The police say my travel trailer will never be found.

 

The cops didn't take that stuff for evidence? They just left it in there?
