I'm glad you haven't quit. It's hard when the you know you are going to lose someone so close to you sooner than you want it to. I'm glad you have found an outlet for what is a trying time in yours and Alison's life right now. It's not an easy one to deal with. Good to hear friends have kept in touch with you that are on the other side of the country. Your tw family will be here for whatever you need. Keep on trucking and never let it affect your life. We wish you and Alison the best of luck through this trying time and keep up the good fight.

They use Clinton compressors that pump a constant flow of hot air in them.

I have a hardon for the M&P 9.... both the full size and compact (I own both)

personal preference tho. you will need to go and shoot a bunch of them and see what feels best. major brands - glock, s&w, Springfield, etc you can't go wrong with

As josh says, depends on your use and budget too

    Nothing noteworthy

My very first pistol that I still am in love with is a Glock 19 gen 3. It is just such an awesome pistol and has such a good feel in my hand My wife has a S&W Shield which I like and I have also shot Sig's, and full sized and compact Springfield Armory pistols. I think it comes down to what feels best in your hand. Go to the LGS and see what feels best to you. I picked the G19 as a do-all pistol since it was my first. Like was mentioned before, depends on your intended use. Good luck!!

HK VP9 is an excellent pistol. Feels good in the hand and has a great trigger out of the box. Paddle mag release is different but I like it.

S&W M&P Shield 9mm (no safety) also feels good and is very soft recoiling considering its size.

Full size M&P's with an after market trigger also shoot excellent.

So much more to choose from as well.
