Well after three years I finally got bit by the modding bug again. Ordered some new fiberglass 4 inch fenders from roadrunner, fiberglass hood, and some king 2.5 resis. I don't know if I will go LT down the road, but man I love the desert look. Anyway Im not broke yet amazingly!

Just renewed the XM for another year. Its important to me to have it. I also stream music through the slacker Entune App Suite and my I Tunes music library.

Once a year is good for the sides but I think you should clay the top and hood twice a year. I really like the Meguiars Ultimate with a little spray on wax after a wash! Put mine on in February and still holding up strong in the FL sun.

How does the clay bar help with the trail pinstripes? Trying to convince myself to do this, but have literally NO experience so I'm a bit hesitant

Not sure but you might have to polish the trail pinstripes.

Dude it's easy. Wash the truck good and dry it. Then take a spray bottle of the Meguiars quick detail spray or some car soap mixed with water in a spray bottle and keep the area wet when running the bar on the surface and be careful not to drop the bar on the ground. This is the size of the Meguiars bar. image.jpg

Or....even easier (and if you drop it it's no biggie) you can go with a claybar towel. These things are fuckin magic.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
clay bar removes surface contaminants from the upper most layer of clear coat. If you gently run your fingers accross a clean panel, you should feel bumps and imperfections. Clay bar just removes that, when completed the surface should feel smooth.

To remove trail pinstripes you might try scratchx or a fine cut polisher followed by a finishing polisher.

Just so you know the clay bar will remove any wax on the vehicle.

I bought a aftermarket sirius xm tuner several years ago that has a lifetime membership to it. I can install it in any vehicle or use it in the house. Unfortunately sirius doesn't offer the lifetime membership anymore so you would have to buy a used one. I haven't listen to a regular radio station years. It's been one of those great purchases that keeps on giving year after year.

Didn't go wrong there. Good deal! Todays price averaged out to 10.00 a month. I'm good with it. Enjoy.
