I think a separate Pismo thread would be the best way. Just throw a link in the OP to the new one.

oh ok, sounds good...do you want to give me editing capabilities for the OP? Or if you want I can go through the last dozen pages or so and compile a list of new info (people coming to Pismo and their guests) and PM you that list so you can update the first page? Either way works for me just let me know, I won't be able to work on it until tonight after work though.

I think one of the most important things is that another thread get started with details on grub and who's bringing what to the trip...if we start posting all that in here it'll start getting really hectic. Is someone else willing to take that on if I take on updating this thread with info on who's attending? I have a feeling I'm going to have to go back a few dozen pages and work my way up lol

I saw you looking for them, replied, and then read you just needed the adhesive part haha.
You could try a thin roll of 3m double sided foam tape and make it a circle

Grab some "The right stuff" Permatex sealant and just silicone them on and it actually seals unlike the foam which has a tendency to leak...mo betta!

A fun way to offroad to the lake is to enter the forest via hwy 38 and take Clarks Summit to Skyline Drive which drops you just a few short miles from Jacoby. Note: Doing Jacoby the back way is more challenging and fun.

    Directions:

Clarks Summit from hwy 38 head northwest uphill on forrest road 1N04. Bear right on 1N45, then bear right back onto 1N04. Turn hard right on 2N06, go past the forest gate. Stay left to remain on 2N06 where 2N21 joins on the right. Bear right on 2N10 which is Skyline Drive. Follow 2N10 until you hit pavement. This road dumps you right next to Bear Mountain Ski Resort which is just southeast of Big Bear Lake.

Beautiful views the whole way. Easily done in 2wd.

If you bought this for a special homie discount and sold your 5100 set up you'll be out of pocket like $200 give or take.

A fresh thread just for Pismo is the way to go for sure. Keeps everything neatly organized for the meet. @Speed Freek ! Pismo! You comin'? Bring your first gen with the LS1 corvette engine dropped in it. I wanna see that thing fly down the coast line. Maybe it'll even travel over the ocean? And dirtbikes. Heard you own a few 20 of those. haha

I agree, but if someone could take the reigns on starting one that would be awesome...I'm taking over editing this thread for the time being, I'll start later tonight after work but I'll have to go through dozens of pages to update the list on the OP for people coming and their plusses.
