aren't all 2nd gen headlight assemblies universal? there have been some aesthetic tweaks, but i assumed the placement and bolts were all the same?

I just purchased these and they're sitting on my kitchen floor waiting to be set up.

I also am going to replace the bulbs they came with with this set:
    http://www.carid.com/lumen/lumen-plazma-led-lights-10064457.html

I was a bit unimpressed with the LED strip (not plugged in of course) but overall probably going to be better than OEM.

05-11 headlights won't fit a 12+ due to the changes in the grill and hood lines.

You need to change your request to read '05-'11, not 2nd gen.

Are you looking for style points or actual lighting improvement?

If lighting, search for 'ultimate headlight upgrade' by member @crashnburn80.

    What is stock?
Hey guys I have a 2011 and you might want to take a seat for this story about my headlights....

I bought my headlights from Pro Tuning lab. When I first bought them I was more then excited to put them on. HID Xenon Angel Eye Halo & LED projector headlights to be exact. I installed the HID kit and headlights and I was more than impressed. Before a month passed it rained and as you can see some water got into the headlights. Thank god I bought the 1 year warranty for $50 right? YEA RIGHT. Instead of explaining more I will show you guys the emails and damage done. So for those buying headlights AVOID PRO TUNING LAB AT ALL COSTS. I wish I checked the Google reviews before buying. Oh and for whatever reason you may need to know I am in the greater Philadelphia area.

That's ridiculous. Hope you at least we're refunded. My favorite part is the "the humidity and climate" line he dropped. If that's the case those lights would be completely full of water in MS lol.

It's almost like he's saying the only place in the entire world these won't get moisture in them is California. Cross that border and instant moisture . Also I have not been refunded I'm still stumped by the stupidity and have no idea what to do next they pretty much just refused to warranty this out

They 100% understand their headlights are shit. They expect you as the customer to screw off when they give you a lame ass excuse as to why their shit lights turned into a rainforest. 99.99% of people will just lick their wounds and move on because legal resolution is not worth their time/money. They know this and it's why crap companies who make subpar aftermarket garbage can get away with screwing people out of "warranties". Their warranty = pseudo-consumer assurance.

Anyways long rant aside, if you want to fix the lights yourself id just bake them like people do for the BHLM and then open em up and let the moisture be released and reseal them properly. Sort of same principle people follow with cheap ass LED bars, when they inevitably leak you just need to get them dry and reseal them better than how it came from factory.

    Looking or performing?

If you are interested in performance stick with high quality OEM housings and turn up the output:

Blacked out OEM headlights with mini H1 projectors. Super clean look and the light output is amazing.
