Can someone order the gold balls TRD sticker and put it on a 2016 to make the gears better?

I still think the 4.3 + auto combo might be legit.

To my own chagrin, now I kinda want there to be a 4.3 in the 2017s... JUST to see this thread turned around yet again.

All good, I'm a libertarian. So I guess that means I just disagree with everyone on their stupid shit and steal their rare but good ideas. Win-win!

Ok, I've been out for a bit, since like page 19 lol. What did I miss? Last thing I remember the gears had changed to 4.3, then they hadn't changed to 4.3. Then they were 3.7. Then they were back to 4.3 after a bunch of people saying the sales manager confirmed it. Fill me in.

Toyota is randomly putting different gears into every vehicle and not telling anyone anything. It is all luck of the draw. (That is about the best conclusion you could draw from this thread)

We are back to no change except for a power rear sliding window. Confirmed by Jeff Lange

Naa, they won't be able to tell they are a 2016 because they have the same grills.

Sure they will, all the 2016 owners have had time to change it to something not so bad!

My chrome grille is pretty awful.

That is going to be my problem if (when?) my truck ever gets here... There is more I want to do and no funds to do it all... the grille might have to wait a bit... :(

I hope I see the 2017 drivers constantly opening and closing their rear window.

Just another big ugly and awkward switch to hit your knee on when getting in/out of the truck. Still the same shitty howling sounds.

It is too hot here to bother with opening any windows... There are other things that would have been better imo
