Just wait till the holidays. Lol 130 with overtime for me is 35.85 dont get me wrong though. 130 isnt a walk in the park. And especially not if your working more than 40 hours. Physically super demanding. And tiring mentally.

 

For obvious reasons they have been overstaffing us to get rid of the overtime. So dont expect overtime. Sadly.

 

Oh no, don't get me wrong I'm not underestimating the work load at all... but I'll be ready...expecting the worst.
But it seems to me that does numbers are very rewarding. Start to finish ... I'm adaptable.

Plus you get 3 months till your expected to make a 95 percent.

Any idea in the amount of time they took on you, from the time u applied till they called u?

 

Ive been at walmart for 6 years lol 3 stores and 3 warehouses.

 

But getting into the warehouse depends on the hire date in relation to the beggining of the pay period. They post the jobs, you apply. They pull a name for each job then call and ask if your intrested still. You say yes. Background check and piss test. Depending on some stuff the background check can take 1 week to 4 weeks in some extreme cases. You do a physical abilities test (@Kumunoy can fill you in on that as i was hired before they did that company wide.) Assuming you pass all that you then get a job offer and tour of the facility and then start next payperiod.

Got it. Seems like is the same steps for any other job out there now. Again all depend in the organization. State or Government got a different approach, again depends on the position.
I'll give it a month, a whole cycle.... if not I'll be applying for jobs on my field.

Yes. Only direction to go now is up. There opening a facility in 2018 in cocoa beach area, i hope to be management. Whhich feild are you studying in.

I'm continuing what I started during my military time. Used to work with workstations, laptops, servers, managing the network. Giving different users the right amount of access to the network and resources. So I'm trying to finish my degree in Cybersecurity. Is a lot involve in the IT field, is a constant learning... so that's why sometimes I can't go out as much as I wanted too.
Right now I got a test coming up in a week on the installation and configuration of Windows Server 2012 R2 ... so you got an idea now.

I just apply on Wallmart cause I want a job on the side or on the weekend to balance bills out.

 

The weekend shift is definetly a great job shift. At my last dc i was doing 3 13s fkr 39 hours and working various second jobs and working out 4 days a week lol.

 

7 days a week if you count stacking dog food lol

 

That is great pal. Like Wallmart say: "Work makes you free" I don't see why not I will see u as a manager at Wallmart in the near future.
