satellite capable??

    integrated sirius, tonnaue cover
    my 09 taco reg cab base truck, head unit is supposed to be satelite capable, whats this really meen?trying to get a sirius or xm to put behind the dash so i can use my oem head unit controls, and cant get any info on what to use. even my toyota dealer talked to toyota rep today, and they have no answers. anybody tried this yet?

    Debadged 2008 Rugged Trail
    Toytec ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper and full skid plates underneath. Looking into redoing the suspension and maybe repainting the ol' Taco.
    Satelite capable means you need the tuner kit from XM. It should be prewired to just allow plug and play functionality for the XM tuner. You will be able to control your station selection and everything from the stock HU.

    funny thing toyota dealer or the toyota rep visiting them today couldnt tell me what to use

    I checked the website. Gulf States (distributor of Toyota in Texas) has it listed in the option package as XM. It is possible, but unlikely, that it is different in other parts of the country or even unavailable else where.
