I'm very against digressive valving. There is a reason that King, Fox, ADS, Sway Away, and Radflo all use Progressive valving. It's logical.

Wait. You mean to say that you don't want your fillings to fall out of your teeth when you're driving around in town and you want your shocks to increase dampening as you increase shaft speed? Blasphemy!

Lots of people don't have a problem and love their Icons compared to stock. But that's what they are comparing to...stock. Of course I'd rather have Icons over stock shit.
I've never met who's owned, tuned, or rebuilt Icons vs. ANY of the other big players and actually prefers Icons, myself included. Icon literally has inferior machining and runs the highest PSI nitrogen charge compared to the other big boys. I would have to rebuild those every year if I ran them.

I want to go king or ADS someday. I haven't experienced anything other than Icon, bilstein, and stock so I like them.

Now is icon still inferior even with CDCV?

I do like my clickers more and more as I learn more about them. Fun to mess around with

So much reading up to do. I guess icon is out of the question. Kings or Foxes maybe. Still loving your ADS @4Running Daily?

All clickers work the same, each company just has a different naming scheme. I believe Foxes are actually slightly different given their 2 knobs.

I love my ADS coilovers still. No issues, no noises, nothing. I keep convincing more and more people to try them out and I've gotten nothing but positive feedback.

Every vendor offers those. Not just Icon. All they do is restrict the oil flow on compression through an adjustable orifice. If anyone has an up in that category, it's Fox with their DSC (dual speed compression) adjuster. They have two separate adjustments, one for low shafts speeds and one for high shaft speeds.

Personally not a fan, but I revalve my own stuff when I'm not happy.

I am going ADS or King when I upgrade. Think ADS is on par? Always heard great things.
My Icon Omega Bypasses have 2 knobs. I don't really know if that is the same as fox.

ADS's internal tolerance of components is actually the best in the industry. ADS was a machine shop before they got into the shock business.

Yeah I've thought of selling my front set up for some ADS stuff. Just want to be sure I get a good price. Need to figure out what is a good price to sell.

ADS makes good shit. Just not nearly the same quantity of users and expertise. They are very close to King internals in most reguards.

And bypasses and compression clickers are two different beasts. One is shaft speed centric, the other is shaft location centric.

Nope, however I believe that 2000 was the last year that you could get one w/o special ordering one w/ a manual trans. * '01 & '02 owners correct me if I'm wrong.*

2000 was the last year to get a manual in a 4runner period. No special order, no nothing.
