I just finished installing my ARB color matched bumper this weekend (super easy install awesome fitment btw) Now onto the lights, I want to do a plug and play harness if possible and have been working through some ideas.

Does anyone know if it is electronically safe to use a male 4145 drl male adapter to plug into the factory drl bulb opening for power and then "pigtail" off that with another oem tacoma 4145 receptacle and then continue on to the ARB led signal/marker wiring harness.

I plan on soldering and heat shrinking all the connections.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Wouldn't they be on all the time of tapping into the dtrl relay? Unless that's what your going for id say use the parking lights. A car audio/accessory person would be best to answer this but I would think it'd be ok. You'd basically be doing a variation of the fog light anytime mod from the sounds of it. That circuit should already be fused so maybe it'd be ok. Just my 2c but I'm not an installer.

Thank you, thats what I was thinking. I want them to basically mimic the drl settings.

I had mine wired to the DTRL and to my blinkers I had two seperate bulbs in each light in the bumper so they would come on when I turned the switch to the DTRL and then the other two bulbs were blinkers
