this. pushing those big tires out are going to make the rubbing much worse when turning the wheels

Seriously, look at that offset, those wheels sticking so far out is the problem. The only thing I can think of is get aftermarket ucas and try to get 4 degrees of offset, but you may get rub towards the front.

Simply put, those wheels aren't made for the Tacoma. :(

I believe his wheels are 17x9 -12. The -12 combined with a 9" wheel is causing the problems.

18x9.5 -6 265/70/18 ran for a couple months with factory suspension. Yes it rubbed on the cab at full lock and reversing in dips. Lifted it and no rub. his cant be any worse than mine the 6mm difference is less than the split .5" width difference. At each side mine a 12mm wider than his.

I have a little extra space due to the tire being on a 9.5. but the rubbing isnt anything he really needs to worry about. kinda annoying but the cab aint going nowhere. just roll how you are. save for suspension and lift it 1"-2" and you're golden

No big deal, Mobil welding service < 1 hour, you can cut and clean yourself with the templates of the BAMF CMC pre cut covers your likely to use if you go this route...total ~120 and two hours of your time.

Before I chopped my '07 I lost significant amounts of rubber from the cab mount slicing the lugs on the outside edge of my tires... this time around on my '15 the sequence will be chop first, then tires

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    Stock tire size??

If a cab mount chop costs more than $250 go somewhere else, what the hell?? Spacers will likely make it worse.

^^^ That I'm running the same setup with -6 offset and no rub stock suspension... something is amiss with either the wheel size (they lied about the offset -12 should clear better that -6) and/or the suspension install needs more attention.

Are you sure its rubbing the cab mount and not somewhere else??

edit: take the wheels back and get your money back - they sold you wheels that don't fit. You'd have to go to smaller tires (or chop). Tell the shop if it was your brand new truck would you buy wheels that you knew you would have to chop the truck?? They did not inform you... not your fault. Who is the wheel expert?? just sayin

hard to tell from the pics but those rears look more than -12mm They look like dually wheels from the side.

Just got off the phone with the Teturault Tire Pro Manager who basically said i'm shit out of luck. "We mounted the wheels so now they are yours." Yes they are rubbing on the cab mount at 85% turn of the wheel.

He told me I should take them off, put them for sale on craigslist and then use the money to buy different wheels. I asked if the company would work with me on exchanging for the right size or different type of wheel at the same price and he said "probably not."

The 6112's have 1 more adjustment slot so I will have them raise it a little more and then have the alignment shop see if they can't adjust the caster and move the wheel away from the frame more. I will post the Alignment Print out soon.

PS I do have the Camburg Upper Control Arms.
