One thing I have to say about Blazing Blue. When I bought it I was worried about it showing dirt and not looking clean very long. I used to go for light colors for that reason. I just looked at mine. I have not washed it, or the wheels, in over 45 days in early June when I installed the wheels. We have had several bouts of heavy rain, some street flooding and a ton of days with standing water over that period. I am surprised how clean it looks. I will give props to the Mothers wax too. Now I want to wash it and they are calling for rain the next 2 days. Oh well maybe next weekend.profile 1.jpg

I didn't even think that there was quality paint under there.

Don't be silly, it's just as crappy as the rest of the truck. Don't get me wrong, I love my bpp. But the paint or clear coat seems to be quite thin. I have more scratches and nicks than I had on my previous truck after 5 years.

I've only had mine about a month but so far it seems applied better than my old FJ's paint was.

I've had it for over 4 months and haven't had any problems with the clear coat or scratches so far.

It peeled off easily and there was very little adhesive residue left that came up easily with a little Goo Gone.

Yeah, I don't get it. I use my truck but take good care of it especially with it being 5 mos. old.

I've been pondering doing this for a few months now... Still have not yet decided! Problem is, you can't really go back (easily) if you don't like it.

You could have someone put some new vinyl on if you don't like it. I looked through abut 10 pages on this thread and everyone still has it on except the picture I posted and the access cabs.

Here are a few pictures. I'm at work and the lighting in the parking garage isn't the best, but hopefully one of these is a good picture! I've had my truck for a little over 4 months and it was easy to get off. One of the reasons I took it off is because I scratched the vinyl on the drivers door with my fingernail when I was cleaning the window. It scratched pretty easily, and I saw it every time I opened the door to get in, and I found it annoying!
