Hello everyone, just noticed this thread, I'm from the Barrie area, probably saw a few of the trucks on here (I always keep an eye out for other tacos :) ). Noticed some interest in group meets, rides on this thread, id be interested if anyone is doing one. I was looking for spots to get the truck dirty :).

    Cheers,

Hey! I heard there's a pretty decent spot near Orillia. I'm not at a point where I want to take my truck off-road yet though. Not even 2,000Kms on her yet! Lol

I got a little spot by my place, just some mounds to climb over, nothing hazardous to screw up the truck.

I've been tempted to take it behind the sobeys in Alliston where they've been moving all the dirt and stuff for new houses. Lots of water and big dirt mounds. Looks like it would be fun!

Anyone in here with a 2nd gen live close to Alliston? A few months back they had a decent sale on Mobil 1 synthetic oil 5w30. I bought some anticipating I would be doing my next oil change. However I traded in my 15 for a 16 and now the oil grade is different and crappy tire won't let me exchange without a receipt. It's yours for $25

Hi, just joined and noticed this thread.. I picked up a 16' TRD Sport about a month ago and love it! Started upgrading with some of the essentials (floor and bed mats, tonneau cover, etc.) which I've posted in an album.. nothing too serious.. yet! Anyway just wanted to chirp in and see if anyone new some good but light back country spots. I'm located in Burlington but find myself up North every couple of weeks in the summer.

    Cheers,

    Mick

    Hey Mick,
Congrats on the truck, and welcome to the site. There is another thread for the southern Ontario gang if your interested. The odd meet and greet, trails, or just general bs. May see you around as I'm out in Burlington a lot.

    Cheers

Thanks Pete, I'll keep an eye on your thread. I have a few buddies with Taco's as well. We may be able to pull together to meet up one day.

I'm still too big of a wimp to take this my TRD sport off-roading. This thing costs too much lol.

We have general meets and greets at malls or Tim Hortons and stuff. Worst thing there is a shipping cart lol. Good way to talk shop and what not.

Yeah I don't regret it either. Living in luxury now. Heated mirrors, heated seats, push button start, sunroof, navi, loving it!

All of the above in a 2012, except the leaky roof and extra red button.

Haha if you have ever had smart start/push button start you'd understand how awesome it is. I went from an sr5 to a TRD sport and hands down the TRD is a better truck all around. After the tsb I have no complaints. Love the new interior styling, very unique. Love the leds and everything. Don't miss that dated sr5 interior at all!
