Jesus Christmas 900$ for the rigid add on led bar? Is the rigid REALLY worth 700$ more than the $180 one?

Yes, rigid lights are expensive. Are they worth the premium? Well I guess that depends on who you ask and what they are using them for. Personally, I rarely use my aux lights so I can't justify the premium but there are definitely people out there who need the best.

Does anyone have this bumper? Can it be used for a highlift point?

I don't think it mounts directly to the frame rails. Looks to be just mounted to underneath the cross member. That would lead me to believe using any part of that thing as a lift point to be sketchhyyyyyyy

Looks to be mounted to the frame cross bar right beside the recovery point. If that part of the frame is suspect to jacking wouldn't it pull right off during recovery?? And just ins case that IS the recovery point NOT a tie down point only.

The only question for me and jacking would be a mounting point for the jack. Still wouldn't be the reason for purchase or not... looks like a decent kit - no need to cut away anything on the bumper... not that that's a show stopper for me.

I did not know it mounts to the frame rails through the lower grill opening, so that adds a ton of strength, but (and this is just looking at the pictures @moe2o4 posted) I'd still be wary of using it as a lift point. That's just me, though!

I hear that, I'd be worried I'd bend the bumper .... depends on the leverage point and strength of bumper steel!

My issue is that the only way I have found to contact Avid is by hand writing them a letter to there mailing address. I can't find a phone or email. That bothers me when buying items, especially made to order items.

Took me around 45 seconds to find it on their website. Emailed them around 8:45 this morning, got a reply within half an hour.
