I disagree. How many times do you open your hood compared to windows?

People have been asking for power read windows for over a decade on these trucks. Doing it yourself costs hundreds and is a ton of work. Adding hood struts is $40 and an hours time max

Ah, I see the 3rd gen section's most vocal owner has started another whining thread. I'll bring the popcorn!

Not whining, just curious to see everyone's opinions on options that perhaps we will see Toyota implement in the future model years.

:p I'm cautiously optimistic about the future of the Tacoma, you guys got a bum wrap with steep axle gears and a lazy engine tranny combo

A TRD Smitty Edition sticker.. also including howling rear diff, extended steering wheel vibrations (extending range from 1000 - 3500 RPM), whistling LCAs, squeaky leaf springs!

    Did I miss any features!?

I think it was a big oversight to have an infotainment system that will play music directly from a USB drive, sort up to 10,000 songs by the metadata in the mp3 files themselves, and somehow not let you play or import a playlist. Why no playlist option? That makes no sense to me.

And yes, I do know I can use my phone... I just don't think I should have to.

My want lists are small. Just minor stuff. I do wish that they upgrade the build quality. There are just too many minor build issues I see from truck to truck.

Anyways, if I had to make a wish list:

    - clips for passenger floor mats
    - USB port in console
    - power locking tail gate from factory
    - better quality dash plastic
