Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I'm gonna make a spread sheet for it today.

OR's can shut off all bags? That's cool. Didn't know that. I can only turn off side curtain bags on my sport.

If anyone nends a cb/whip mount lemme know. Works on the gen2 rails I'm sure 1st gensfw have a spot too. 1/2" hole so most bolts should fit.

Hold the RSCA button in for a couple seconds till the light illuminates on your dash cluster. I mentioned it over HAM when we hit Pilot Rock because we were getting kind of off camber. I shut it off every time just to be safe.

I was gonna rig something up at the house but that's a nice, simple, sharp looking doohickey. I'll take one. How much? Box of wine?

hmmm...my bed is plain jane and doesn't have anything on the side to attach to it looks like :(

    20160810_142148.jpg

But I'm thinking maybe I can make it work by using one of the screws in the tailgate?

For sure. I got you! What size bolt? I have 3/8" - 16 threaded T- Slot nut. Do I need a 1/2" T slot nut and bolt?

Or I could drill a hole for the bolt into the bed rail, the lip is pretty thin...

@goblue82 i used 3/8x1 coarse thread and a spring nut. I'll bring a few. If not any bolt under 1/2" should fit though 1" is about as long as you can go if you use the rails.

@eon_blue whenever we can meet I'm sure we'll find something somewhere that'll work lol. Either a tailgate bolt or....I dunno. Well find something. I just can't justify letting someone spend $15 on a mount when I have these laying around

I have to mess around in the head unit, because I don't have that button.

I have school and work and 2 side jobs to do and it's my chicks birthday this weekend. I have to pull the arms and grind them out and press the new ones in and that's if everything goes smooth. And trying to find a vw specialist to do it is impossible. Fingers crossed though I'm putting it on hold until Sunday to mess with it.
