    Personally, I prefer the Softopper over the Bestop. I don't have first hand knowledge of the quality of either product, but to me the Softopper seems to be a bit overpriced for what it is IMO. Hopefully Softopper can come through for us though!

    they both are quality products.... you cannot go wrong with either of them... it just comes down to preference of the windows for most people. and I AGREE Softopper has become crazy in price.

    I just installed a new softtopper on my dclb and it comes with a bar that secures the back now. You can also velcro for added flap protection. The velcro goes on top of the tailgate on the plastic, rather then on the back. Might be the new design for 2016.

    I think you have that bar in backwards. Is it curved? If so, it might go the other way to follow the curve of the tailgate cap and keep the rear panel tighter.
