Got back from the VA about an hour ago and just like the injection I had 2 months ago this was the same painful injection . Nothing like getting a needle the size of a #2 pencil being pushed thru your knee . Also having (2) smaller needles placed inside the knee with electrical current run thru them

Then to make it even more enjoyable they introduce electrical current onto the Saphenous nerve a literally burn the nerve to deadened the nerve impulse

Only thing for pain control is a freezing agent sprayed on the skin . Also to manage pain was using (2) stress balls and squeezing the @#?";@ out of them

Right now resting with my knee elevated with a bag of ice over it

I like this the best. Was on one ship that the Main Propulsion Assistance (MPA) was on a power trip and total Ahole, reminds me of Blues boss. We did a walk out all of us when we were in port walked out to the pier and sat down. Only took a few minutes and he came out with a .45 and said he could legally shoot us and pointed it at us in turns. Kind of made your heart stop when your looking down the barrel of a lunatic. Chief Engineer was there a few minutes later and told us the MPA was correct and we needed to go back to work. Don't think that is a problem in most workplaces LOL. Cheng wasn't happy and it was his responsibility ultimately and got the MPA switched to the deck dept. Poor guy disappeared overboard one night out to sea. Only time in my life I think something like that was justified. And honestly don't think anyone did it, he liked to play John Wayne and did not use safety precautions.

Want to upset a power trip Ahole? Ignore them. And get all hands on board. He will leave on his own when he realizes no one cares about his power. Good advice Mike.

I had an email this morning from 4 of the board members that I know are on the side of the employees. They want me and one other manager to meet them off property later on today. They said we should not make any further moves until we speak with them. Gonna see what this is all about.

Sorry you have to go through this Chuck. Isn't there a point where they refer you to an outside specialist? Doesn't seem like they have an answer to fix this, they are just mitigating the pain.

That is a good thing, seems that they have heard the planned walkout and have a compromise ready. Hopefully you get what you want without putting anyone's job at risk. This just shows the power of washed up old has beens.
