I say we get the rulers out to settle this debate.

    Basic overland stuff...
Dealer offered me 34k for my limited with 15k. I was looking at buying a 17 OR with tech and premium, predator boards and locking tailgate for $36,950 (plus tax, and tag). If he got $37k for a used 16 that's impressive.

    Edit: this what's this afternoon.

Let's just cut the BS and let the OP enjoy his truck. Financials are really his own personal business. Nice truck, congratulations, and please give us updates and reviews after you get some miles on her!

This is what I paid for mine.... actually 43600 plus stupid cali tax...then I added an extended warranty...walked away at 50. Feels like I got a pro without the pro! :/ But I'm happy with my taco. Can't wait to recover from appendix surgery after having my two foot surgeries from a girl running a red light and wiping me out on my Harley :(

My point exactly. And trade on a truck that has a line of customers for it.

Agreed, but don't go spitting out numbers and not expect people to call BS.

All I want to add to my truck that the TRD pro has is the power rear window and shift knob....planning on lifting soon. Have a little over 4k to burn....just don't know what I want or what I should get

I want all your guy's money trees. Holy shit balls. I'm struggling to cover tuition for grad school and books let alone $43k tacomas and $4k in parts.

Sorry about your accident, get well soon.
You should probably just go ahead and give that dealer that your spare 4K. They could probably use it.

I went to school bro. Bachelor's in BS.....ended up becoming a cop..then being a 5 year veteran the motorcycle accident took me out....foot after 2 surgeries is allowing me to walk again but then this past Saturday I rushed myself into the hospital for appendicitis. Had surgery and now walking like an old man, hunched over. Fixing my truck up is the only thing I can be happy about after losing my Harley :(

in oil and gas I've seen guys get rid of a 2015!in 2015 and lose 10k. That's normal. They want the nicer truck and that's they way it is. They will say I lost 10k but I'm happy with what I drive. Make the money and blow it if you want to. It's your Money.

Was joking about the money part. Spend it how you wish, it's yours.

I lost $1k on mine minus the interest I paid over a year and lift and tires and wheels, so $3k or so. They gave me $31k for my 2015 DCLB TRD Sport 4WD with 30k. I did pay $31920 for my 2016 SR5 DCLB 4WD with some options. For me I was tired of chasing small lift nuisances, better mpg, quiet/upgraded interior, better interest rate made it hard to pass up. However starting to think I traded in a gem, oh well. This truck will get me through grad school hopefully.

good luck. That should get you through. I bought a 2016 sport for my son to get him through 10 years. I drove a 2015. We spoil the kids.
