I bought my truck new in Sept. 2015 and at the time my dealership was offering free lifetime oil changes every 6 months or every 5,000 miles with conventional oil plus free tire rotations. Synthetic oil is offered some kind of up charge and done every 10 months or 10,000 miles and free tire rotations as well. I have 2 questions. 1-Which option would take, 5,000 or 10,000 mile oil changes? 2-did/does your dealership offer the same options that I am getting? I am very grateful my dealership offers this service because I can no longer get down on the ground and get back up with my bad back and knees. It sucks getting older because mentally I know I can do these jobs by myself. Its just the physical part that I have problems with.

I'd take the conventional ever 6 months or 5k miles. My dealer doesn't offer anything like this that I am aware of.

I would agree with the conventional oil change every 5K miles, but I would encourage you to get in the habit of checking the oil level after about 3K miles just to be aware of how the oil looks and to make sure of the level.

ALMOST got stuck at the dump. Mighty 2wd taco tried to fit in with the big 4x4 guys and struggled a little but succeeded. rolled up to back the trailer and sunk. Just punched it and rocked myself out of the mud. There was so much mud on the rim my steering wheel was shaking so bad. I had to change hands every minute or so to let em chill. He's all clean and ready for tomorrow's adventure now

The same shit everyone else has.
Finally got around to finishing up my puddle lights. I finally installed the ones on the driver rear door.

And I added more ambient lighting in the cabin - 2 LED under the radio bezel trim to light the center console.

Only dealer that I know of that does this here in SoCal is Toyota of Claremont and it's a lifetime oil (dino or syn) changes but I don't believe they give an option for synthetic if conventional is recommended from factory. I bought my 2009 from them and went in early one saturday morning. They open at 7am and got there at 6:30 and I was between 20-30th person in line. By 7am, there was like 60 vehicles lined up. They do have a huge service bay compared to other dealers. Maybe 20-25 but I never went back after that. It wasn't worth the hassle to me.

Huge improvement. I hated that JBL HU. Had it replaced twice under warranty for disappearing display and volume going out. Sub replaced as well for buzzing sound.

Can anyone recommend a single space size head unit that has bluetooth, usb, aux and doesn't have bright AF disco lights. I cannot stand bring lights in my truck at night. I also really like having the tray under the head unit instead of the monster sized double units that come installed.

You're looking for a single din unit then. I always go through crutchfield for All my audio needs. They have good prices and will make sure you get everything you need to make the aftermarket stuff work in your truck. Take a look at Clarion. They put out some amazing sound, and are relatively Lowkey on flashiness level. Usually a nice low blue color

Edit: most aftermarket wiring harness should have an option to wire in the dimmer. So your dash and gauge cluster dimmer would work to dim the lights on the head unit as wel.

I'm also trying to decide between these three ditch light brackets. They are all basically the same price and powder coated. CBI has an option for a nice switch. Can anyone speak to the fit of these or does it really matter? Do the geometries of these brackets matter for when opening your hood?

Crutchfield! I think most of the HU now comes with adjustable colors.

I have the CBI ones. They are an absolute pain in the ass to install (not really, but more work than others), but they look a lot cleaner IMO. you have to trim the cowell, but it's not too bad. just takes patience. I have a set of rigid dually's on mine and no issues with opening/closing the hood. just don't snap the clip for your windshield washer fluid line or else it's a pain to make sure it doesn't pinch every time you open/close the hood

Yeah but do they come with a dimmer or an off switch?
