    That looks like some sort of connector. Your coaxial cable will connect straight to the bottom of your antenna you just need something to hold that assembly up, and from the looks of the picture, that wont do it. I may be wrong though.

    We should do a San Diego Mod day...I might be able to host but I would be limited in space for actual working on the trucks. I live on a busy street but I can fit 4-5 tacomas strategically on my driveway.
