Not sure on ADD, but with manual hubs...As long as I am going in a straight line with no wheel slip, and the hubs are locked, it pops in at any speed. All it is doing is locking shafts together that are already moving at the same speed.

Again, I am not sure how ADD works. I don't know how it gets the stationary rotating mass up to speed before it locks.

Well, I had all the front end taken apart when I noticed I was sent the wrong gear kit. Started greasing the driveline and looking around while waiting. I had a day to 'waste' waiting on the right kit. Wasn't much work to loosen some parts and squirt some grease in. Made a nice list of other upgrades while I was at it.

Stereos dont come in "sizes". Either single or double din (thats the standard anyways). Either will fit with matching hard/trim.

My truck wont let you engage 4x4 unless completely stopped. If its moving even slightly the light will flash and beeper comes on.

Push button 4x4 so no 2lo. Its always done it. The computer wont even let it try to engage unless stopped. You can disengage smoothly at any speed though.

That's broken, you should be able to engage at any time while moving under 55

My dollar is on the CVs being the root cause of you vibe. Most likely, too high of an axle angle.

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
I'll be swapping it out soon as a precaution and getting another rebalance soon, so I can check both of them off the possible cause list

The first time I lifted the redhead, I had the adjustable COs set with too much pre-load. This caused a high speed vibe in the 55-60 mph area. Almost ruined the fins on the cv boots before I lowered it some, so the fins no longer touched. It had worn a groove on both inner boots. Lowering it to ~2.75" of lift stopped the vibe and saved the boots. I got another 60K out of the boots before replacing both axles with 'new' CVJs.

Had one. Weld rusted out and it wasn't worth it to me to get it put back on. Just went with an entire replacement for like $200.

It was alright, but v6s will never sound deep and throaty like a v8 will. I like not alerting people within 1/4 mile that I'm driving.

I used an adjustable hood hinge mount from FireStik. It doesn't even need to be bolted in. It fits perfectly beneath the tailgate latch catch. This is the only picture I have on my computer right now. Unbolt 2 bolts on the latch catch, place the mount behind it and bolt the catch back in place. It'll hold it nicely. I can get a better picture with my phone tomorrow if you need to see what I'm talking about.

    20131120_165841_zpsd113bb14.jpg
This is a very good and easy option too.
    DO ETTTT
Exactly what I have. Fits fine behind the stock wheels with a little trimming of the dust shield.
All double din units will be the same size. Here's mine.

I think the issue might be that I can't get a good seal on the bottom of the grommet. I've been having a terrible time trying to wedge my finger down there without making a mess with the silicone

I have the same head unit in my truck. Overall, it's nice. Built quality is good and it has a good array of options. I like that it doesn't just have a dimming feature, you can set the lights to turn off entirely when buttons aren't being pressed. Great at night. But tell me this. Do find this thing to be the least intuitive system? Everything is hard to figure out. The software experience is not good.

New here, I've had mine just over a year now.

Did the diff breather extension this morning.

This past Sunday I went offroading for the first time(in a truck anyway). Didn't do anything too challenging since I went alone and I didn't have the breather done. Didn't take any pics but below is a pic of it at work Monday afterwards. Might go again this weekend20160808_092301.jpg

Good god I hate the UI on that thing. I would not recommend it to anyone. It pisses me off not having 6 preset buttons. You have to click through all of them to find the station you want
