My gap is only 2.5 inches.

I recently swapped my leaf springs with new stock replacements.

I normally carry 300 lbs of tools around. I feel like this is going to bottom out everytime i hit a bump

Do you know just what springs you had installed ??

Now my bump stops are no longer stock because of the Super Springs

But looking I think 2.5 " would be pretty close with the stock bump stops.

I installed the General Springs heavy duty ones they would handle your 300 pounds with no problems

I then installed my Super Springs I carry 800 to 1000 pounds all the time with no problems.

Put two big friends in the bed take it for a test ride

Standard load springs from anyone are junk You need a heavy duty pack or add the Wheelers progressive pack to your existing pack. They will lift about an 1 1/2" but give good ride and load capacity.

Got into a big arguement with the spring shop parts manager.

He was pretty adament on the springs being fine "Because the rear doesn't look sagged"

I measured from the front leaf eye bolt to ground minus center of axle to ground and have about 1" difference (it should be at least 1.97")

So i might print off the alignment instructions from the FSM and go back there with actual proof so it's not just my word over his.

They are supposed to be stock replacements, which they clearly are not.

I got burned on my first set of springs, alcans, the owner basically told me too bad.

So I went with "shit China crap" expos, they've worked great for 4ish years. You live and learn.
