I've had OME on all 3 of my tacomas, and never had that problem or any other from them. I would think the problem is with something else. Possibly LCA bushings like said above.

The solution is to ditch the OME Nitrocharger shocks and go with Billys.

Hm. That just doesn't make a lick of sense to me how it happens on some and not others. There HAS to be a solution, I don't believe OME just screws up some shocks and not others.

were either of your other trucks 2WD? @TheTacoma has there been any correlation to the problem and 2WD trucks on those threads?

I think a couple were, I honestly cannot remember, I would need to go back and read some. I have been to frustrated to deal with it recently.

Maybe you need some weight up front then. Not having the front diff makes your truck lighter.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it, it only does it on speed bumps which is on the road....you bought a OFF ROAD suspension so where the real performance will be is off-road. Not speed bumps.

I think that would help a lot. I am thinking about getting Scotty's friend to make me a bumper and some sliders. I will have to keep this truck at least for another 1.5 years, I don't want to spend a whole lot more on it, but those two things will keep me happy till I can get a new one.

that's ~ 1k$ for front bumper and sliders depending on how complex you want. so not too bad.

Well I have 5 to get from the front gate to my apt  Plus it does it on any little hole off road. I am not worried about it to much, just annoying.

Like I said....depending on how complex...you can go without a winch, you can go without light bars and whatnot. Simply doing a basic durable off road bumper and sliders, for protection reasons only would be less than 1k$

yea...I would want a winch as well...:annoyed: The other option is, living with it and save the money for a down payment on a 17 or 18. I plan on getting SR5, and taking the 7k difference in a sport and making my own sport.

Could you possibly get the bumper/sliders built as bolt-on...then fab the mounting spots to go onto a 17-18 later and put your stock bumpers back on your 11 for trade in??

both. ~400$ for sliders ~650$ for bumper. that's what he quoted/priced me for my design ideas.
