That might be a far stretch, huge body change.

Oh yeah...I forget the huge front end change...but...frame is the same? Sliders could be converted from bolt on to weld on EASILY for the second truck.

I checked out his Instagram and saw the one he made for a 4Runner and liked it a lot. What would he need to make one more along the lines of a CBI or Demello, or any other name brand bumper?

Basically if he can just get measurements of mounting and things like that, which he should have from that 4Runner...just pictures of whatever style you want is what he'd need.

So that's a 400$ bill you can save, and IMO sliders are more important than bumpers...they also protect from door dings hahaha

Plus sliders are easy to convince the wife of, because she wants something to use while climbing in after the lift:rofl:

Honestly I am sure I could sell the bumper separate from the truck when the time comes.

I'm positive you could sell. "Used" bumpers that are "cheaper" are easy to sell...and at ~$650....you could sell for the same price and somebody would think it's still cheap hahaha

    My 07 was a prerunner with 35's.

Why not just get a pair of 5100's and swap them out? Thay are pretty cheap.

That is another option, which includes a lot of work, if I had a garage and the tools I wouldn't mind. Just sucks that I have to spend another $340.00 to replace brand new shocks. I am really torn on which route I want to go. Right now I have no money to spend on the truck and way to busy to work on it/worry with it.

Option 1: Leave the truck alone and save for a 17 or 18 down payment. Not sure if I can last a couple years without modding on my truck now that I have started:rofl:

Option 2: Get a bumper and sliders build, move the sliders to the new truck and sell the bumper = about $1050.00

    Option 3: Swap for 5100s = $340.00

P.S. I am planning on the 17 or 18 no matter what.

but that "about $1050.00" can basically be written off if you're getting a 17-18, sell the bumper, move the sliders to the new truck. done. that's the option I think, plus it satisfies your mod bug a couple of times haha

haha! well he's still eating 400$ for sliders, but he will want them on the new truck anyways.

So my buddy that was gonna help me with my body lift hurt his back and is out of commission for a few months. Anybody local have experience installing them or want to tackle it with me. I have installed a few back in the day on trucks but not an SUV(much easier on a truck when you can just remove the bed). I have the general idea of what I need to do but always welcome to an extra set of hands.
