Anyone have any recommendations & photos of where you guys mounted your Warn M8000 control box inside the bumper on a Moab 2.0? I'm sure there are many ways to mount it, just looking for some feedback. Did you guys stuff it into the bumper, or mount it in the engine bay? I'm finally getting around to installing my bumper. Cheers.

Check my build thread....there may be a pic or two? We designed a little bracket to mount it on so access is through the right hand hole. I have a POS Tjm winch so not too sure how different the control box is.....besides better than mine.

You are much better off leaving it under the hood so the solenoid is better protect from the elements.

I regretted my decision to not add the fold down table option to my CBI rear bumper. I saw a picture of one and figured I could build something similar, even though I have zero experience working with metal. I used 6061 .125" plate and 1" square tubing. Painted with Rustoleum truck bed liner. I think it turned out pretty good!

@CBI Offroad Fab : I saw this awesome bumper and was looking for it on your site with no luck. Are you still making these? What's the cost?

    Looks nice!

I'm hoping someone will build a bumper with less front overhang though.

What do you mean by " less front overhang " ? Do you a steeper approach angle ? If so the only way to achieve that on a taco is to completely cut off that lower front cross member and build a custom tube bumper / skid. Unless you remove that front cross memeber there is no way to change that.

Talking from the grill forward. Ideally your correct cutting and reengineering a lower cross member would be the way to go.

For a bolt on solution there is no reason a front bumper needs to stick out more than fitting tubes up top if desired.

@CBI Offroad Fab is the dual swing arms an option that can be done on the 2nd gen bumpers and do you have any pictures and so forth of it? Really like how the hi-lift and everything mounts up on it with the dual tables on it. Would love that for my bumper.
