Hmmm. What a mysterious image. Let me try to translate, now that we have the data from the brochure:

    2017 V6 MT - 4.30 diff ratio
    2017 V6 AT - 3.909 diff ratio

Translation: Error in diff ratio code translation. Ironic?

Is this a typo? Specs in the brochure say that the departure angle is way better for the Pro. Seems not right...

    TRD Sport+Limited: 29/23.5/21
    TRD OR: 32/23.5/21
    TRD Pro: 35/26/39

I get the extra 3 degrees because of the front lift. Maybe that impacted the breakover angle? But an extra 18 degrees of departure angle? Huh.

I noticed that too and it doesn't make any sense to me. All of the numbers are the same for wheel base and bed.

    None...yet!
I had a Dodge Ram Power Wagon with 4.53 gearing and an auto tranny. Sure it could drive straight up the side of a building... but it got 12.3 MPG's hand calculated over 10,000 miles. Traded it when I saw that. The 4.10's on the regular 2500 trucks were getting 17-18 mpg's with the same engine and tranny.

It was confirmed about 30 pages back in that thread that nothing has changed for 2017.

You should. It gets better the further away from any useful information it gets.

I abandoned that botchling of a thread long before it got better. And then all I have seen since is the spirit of Clint and the Ostriches. I can only speculate what happened in there... (shudder).

They still haven't fixed the big typos/errors from the 2016 brochure. The photo of the TRD Sport interior on page 7 still shows a Homelink rear view mirror which isn't offered on the TRD Sport. The description for the Limited model on page 23 still lists a chrome rear bumper which is not correct either. I noticed these things right away in the 2016 brochures and kept checking back at the dealership to see if they corrected the issues in later printings. It is disappointing that these issues haven't been fixed for 2017, you would think somebody working at Toyota USA would be passionate and knowledgeable enough about the products to go through all the brochures to verify accuracy before releasing them. I know most people go online now, but brochures are still an important part of the car business to many people. I read and re-read my Tacoma brochure almost daily waiting for my new truck to arrive while cringing every time I saw that Homelink mirror in the TRD Sport and chrome rear bumper notated for the Limited model. I have a large collection of well studied car brochures from all of the new Toyotas I have purchased over the years. When I went to Japan I brought back car brochures from various car dealerships I visited and I found them much more satisfying with storage compartment, technical, and optional equipment details and photos. I can't imagine Toyota making these sort of print errors in Japan. I miss the Toyota FJ Cruiser USA brochure series which almost read like a magazine paying tribute to the FJ heritage, showing technical and structural drawings and diagrams of the FJ and it's mechanical bits, water fjording/wading depth information and photos, approach and departure angles, etc. It was the best brochure Toyota has put out in a long time, and even it got cut shorter and shorter every year towards the end of the FJ Cruiser model cycle. They should do a cool Tacoma brochure that pays tribute to Toyota truck and 4x4 off road heritage with lots of detailed photos of the different Tacomas models and colors in a variety of off-road settings. I want to see cut-away photos of what the engine, transmission, and differentials look like, fun detailed technical information that I can read over and over again, and make sure everything in the brochure is correct!!!
