Have you noticed any downside to having the snorkel?

So some friends and I were talking about Chicago style deep dish pizza last week, and I couldn't get it out of my mind since it's one of my favorite things. I decided to try my hand at making one to see how it would turn out. I made it all from scratch, including the dough and sauce. Turned out fantastic, I'll definitely be doing this more.

I did hit a pretty hefty branch with it last time at LBL, Gideon had to lift the branch out of the way so I could drive under it. That's the only downside I can think of.

So if I get a snorkel, I'll just fab a skidplate for it.

Sadly risers won't help keep stuff off the snorkel. The head sticks up too high... I've already tried...

Yeah. Thought about tacking a riser on the headlight hoop and the one on the rack to raise the entire line. Then pulled my head out of my ass and realized just how shitty that would look and scrapped the entire idea.

3" lift on your riser for more uptravel. Seems legit. I did cut down the main tube for my snorkel about 4" to get the head lower. That helped some.

Looks mighty dang good! I've made a few pizza's from scratch like that. You can take a trip to Italy cheaper'n you can get all the ingredients! But there's NOTHING like the way a home made pizza taste's !

You can definitely spend a lot of money on cheese, but we always have a drawer full in the fridge.
