The place is nice. Definitely an upgrade from the Costa Mesa branch they had.

I was just at Chaparral Motorsports this morning to grab a whip. If you still need one by departure for next weekend I can grab you one. 12 bucks after tax. It's on my way to pismo. I worked there about 15 yrs ago. First time there since and it hasn't changed.

Sweet! I should be good though... as long as they don't magically disappear when I go back.

Also, for those of you interested in having some of the most detailed maps downloaded to you droid, iPhone, tablet, garmin, etc then this is for you. I suggest going with the 45 dollar option that comes with a lifetime of free updates. It works offline away from reception once downloaded. Takes a couple hrs to download (my phone is old so might take you less time) when you're hooked to wifi during download. Covers from norcal to socal, Natl Forest's, anza borrego, ocotillo etc. Hitting the same trails over and over can and will get boring. Let's bloody overland... the dude abides

These maps are great. Spencer got me on them. We've been deep in the middle of nowhere before with offshoots and forks and spaghetti for trails switching back and forth and just turning us all around. Hasn't let down yet.

One of my first questions to the company. The answer is yes. And you can load to all your devices. iPad, phone, Garmin. Everything you own.

Haha! I knew that was coming. It's 45 bucks. Drop the coin and help them out for helping us out with such a great platform and interface. It did cross my mind to ask how they know if a device is owned by me before allowing a download but I just couldn't do it.

haha yeah I'm definitely going to get it, seems like a very worthwhile investment. My trail guide book is good but it's not as detailed as that, especially when it comes to offshoots and lesser known trails
