Yep! If you plan on off roading at least. I plan on doing a CMC and hammering the pinch weld so I can stuff 285s at full lock and not rub at all. That's the goal at least.

I had to go with head strong off-roads full kit which included the Dakars. Couldn't beat the price and costumer service.

It varies by tire too. Some of the more aggressive ones have a higher tendency to rub, and you better believe I'm getting an aggressive tire :bananadance:

ACstep.jpg Can someone advise me, are these side steps for a double cab?? I just got them today from the dealership and asked the parts guy about it being for an access cab. He said they were both the same and these will fit my access cab fine. Well I just put them on, they look too long and the last little attachment arm (right in front of the rear tire) doesn't attach to anything.

Huh, that's really odd. I was under the impression that DCSB and ACLB were the same as far as steps go. Are there bolt holes anywhere under there that aren't being utilized?

Not sure, I will have to check. I can tell you the last attachment arm goes up behind the fender, where there is nothing to attach to, just open behind the fender.

Pretty odd. I'd look under there and investigate yourself, and then go return them to the parts guy. That's clearly not right that they're not hooked to anything.

I'm leaning towards the maxx, but they're damn heavy at 60 lbs for 285. The duratracs are 54 lbs same size. The maxx's sidewall is pure beef though.
