Yeah, I dig them. And the material is just right for my needs, plus the washability. Although I doubt I will be washing them too often unless we have a "significant event."

OK, now I'm at a computer. I test fit only the driver side, and, because the instructions are STUNNINGLY GENERIC, I was experimenting with where to route the lower seat cover web/buckle strap. It seemed natural to just go straight down and underneath (using a coat hanger to fish the strap across), but that did not seem the best way to get leverage to pull the cover tight. So I experimented with going behind the seat-back release lever and down throught there to get more backward pull. It seems to work pretty well. Curious what you did with front seat straps. Extra points for pics!

The front straps on the lower portion of my front seat covers run from the back portion up to the front and go through a buckle strap. It's good and tight. image.jpg Not able to get a clear picture, just the buckle. Hope this helps.

Huh. Is that driver, or passenger? I see also that you have a Sport, whereas I have an SR5, and they are a little different, I believe.

On my driver bottom, the buckle straps aren't located like that. Mine go from the lower rear corner of the lower cover as if the should go either down under the seat from the side (across the bottom), or around the lower back of the upper seat (at the very bottom). I haven't messed with the passenger side yet (it has the crazy fold-flat back, which we really like for baby duty). I probably wont' get back to this until the weekend.

That was the passenger front seat bottom. The rain has stopped and it's daylight so here's a picture of the back of the drivers side with the seat pulled forward. I didn't do anything with the tails of the straps after they went through the front buckle and haven't had a problem. Not sure if the structural under carriage of the different model seats matters. image.jpg

Wait, those aren't Carhartts, are they. Straps and material are totally different.

Bah! You had me going. :goingcrazy:

Inlaw set #1 showing up today through the weekend. That means I might actually get some free time to do projects, even with FIL. So I hope to knock this out this weekend, maybe even the Baja Design fogs.
