FWIW, and I'm not sure how applicable it is to the 2nd gen's, but the Dakar's with the extra leaf work fantastic on my rig. Sits a smidge high in the back when unloaded, but I haul and tow all the time, so that's not a problem. OME Nitro Sports are my limiting factor when it comes to droop, but it still stuffs the tires easily. Granted, I have some extra weight with the bumper, sliders, canopy and rack, but I'd be surprised if yours didn't perform admirably as well.

I agree but I'm running 5100s instead of the OME shocks. I think the truck rides much more responsive than oem

@Chickenmunga Maybe a dumb question but, does the front diff oil need to be drained to remove the front CV axles? ...I mean, to avoid dripping oil out of the axle inputs.

Nope. Some will leak out (most likely) but doesn't need to be drained

Grass cut, dog shit picked up, and ready to party! People it's going to be hot, so if you can bring a pop up tent if you can. I have 2, but. 1s for the dog.

Also I have a lot of coolers, so you don't have to bring for your drinks. Bring a small bag ice if you can.

    C u all tomorrow!

    Semi-serious question...

Why does this forum suck so bad? Literally (okay, maybe not literally) every single thread has 1,000 pages, even if it's just a guy asking a legit technical question.

Here's the thread I was just looking at. Dude's truck with 20,000 miles died on him multiple times while on vacation with his family. Under warranty, and Toyota Roadside Assistance wouldn't tow for free.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-died-in-the-highway-message-said-tra.445480/

After a mod "sanitized" the thread, still 83 posts of bullshit, nothing helpful. (Okay, maybe one or two helpful posts)
