if you count the trucks that came before the Tacoma name yes its a 9th gen.

back then they just called it a Toyota truck.

 

When you say 'updated standard options,' does that mean those 3 things are still options just standalone or, they are now standard on all SR5s?

I doubt you'll get better than $500 over invoice. Both Magic Toyota in Edmonds and Rodland in Everett quoted me $500 over invoice even if I order a 17 (which I will in a few weeks). Toyota of Lake City won't deal until the truck comes in so, screw them even if they're less than a mile from my house. What it comes down to is who do you like better. I like Chris McKay at Magic more than the guy at Rodland. $500 over invoice for a TRD OR for me, I'm a happy camper and so is my wife!

That is 75% residual value!!! I've heard that TFS usually sets the RV from 67-70%. Don't know what your money factor was, but I think you did pretty well on that. Congrats, bruh.

 

I paid $36500 for my OR TRD double cab with premium tech package. Came with tube steps, bed extender locking wheel lugs and the drop down step on the bumper. Think I did pretty good. Here's what she looks like 8 months later lol

 

my 2017 OR DCSB M/T is on order and the sales manager is saying he doesn't see power rear sliding window as an option. Is he right?

I read this on the first page:
* TRD Sport, TRD Off Road, Limited Models :
STANDARD POWER REAR SLIDING WINDOW (D-CABS ONLY)

If he is wrong is saying this isn't an option, is there something I can tell him/show him to prove otherwise? My build date is Sept 30th and I want to put this request in if it's an option.

 

Maybe it doesn't show as an "option" because it is standard on the TRD and higher D-Cabs?

 

@NoDak - just found out the dealer invoice on a '17 Model # 7545 is $30,642. For what that's worth.

I-5 Toyota in Centralia did a deal for $250 over invoice on my Dbl Cab LB Trd Or that I ordered in. That was the best deal I could find back in January, not sure how the market is now but I would think they would be worth a look.

 

Anyone else noticing oddities with the 2017 build page? Like the all weather mats and door sills are not one option any longer..
