Thanks for reminding me, I need to get us registered today as we plan to attend and want access to some of the classes.

Just get the Rock Monsters, mount your 315's and be done with it.

Buy once. I just don't need beadlocks. I'm going down to 12 psi next time and I think that will be good enough for me

You say that now...look who's going up to 37s and the newness still hasn't worn off the 35s yet.

After some thinking I'm not. I mean shit what I do now I would be doing on 37's. I think running off 3hrs of sleep after working 14 hrs got to me. This truck is staying on 35's

Nows the time to think about the end goal of your build and make the right purchases towards that...or you'll be losing money in the long run for instant gratification.

Don't try to keep up...set your own pace.

This is true. After the purchases I do now it will be almost complete. Still going to regear and add front locker next year though.

    Next stuff I need/want is:
    • Plano case for prinsu rack
    • Rotopax for prinsu
    • More Offroad gear
    • Co2 tank
    • More lights

There's the next logical step that'll do more for you than 1" more clearance from tires...that you'll lose anyway when you air down. Get the regear and locker in...

Instead of a co2 tank, consider a compressor instead. You'll need it anyway for the locker...

Proper planning is key...save monies and buy once.

Get both of you can afford it. CO2 is faster just needs to be refilled, plus if your compressor shits the bed for some reason you have a back up. That's what I'm gonna do down the road

A 37 aired down will still sit higher than a 35 aired down. You still gain, don't lose anything assuming everything can cycle

This is true but I was trying to get my point across because I'm not sure if Andrew wants to be bigger and badder on the street (because "17's look better" as stated previously) or if his thought process on the 37's were to actually gain off road.

    This all day long.

You've got an awesome machine there and you know as well as everyone else here that they are never really "finished." But I strongly encourage everyone to take this advice. I was here on TacomaWorld and a few other sites for four months before I even bought the truck, with a plan for what I wanted to use the truck for and where I planned to draw the line to be able to use it on the interstate as well. Using that as a baseline I started researching and over a year later, I started stacking parts. I researched everything and every possible option weighing the pros and cons that had been shared by other forum members. I'm still researching different mods and upgrades but there are very few current upgrades that I wish I had done differently.

Walking past a truck that was mostly stock for years was frustrating but I'm glad I waited and didn't try to get into the "close enough, I'll fix/upgrade it later" mentality. We all like to tinker, that's why we are here in the first place. But like others have said, take a knee and sort out a concrete plan for what you want the truck to be able to do, and what activities you want it to support before spending any more money. Ask your wife to seriously give you input on what she would like to do with the truck when she just blows you off with a "it's your truck, do what you want" answer. It's obvious that your family enjoys being outdoors and using the truck, include their wants and specific needs into the planning stage.

I believe you will find that many of your current mods and upgrades are exceptionally well equipped for the tasks that you intend to use it for.
