Haven't seen any threads on the 3rd gen forum for the new rigid radiance line so decided to start one just in case anyone was looking into getting one. I have a 30" with the red backlighting lower bumper mount. I had a switch panel I got off Amazon installed where the sunglasses holder is, gotta say it looks pretty good.

What switch panel is that? How's the fitment? And did you have to drill?

I got it off Amazon $50, I had a professional install done, I don't trust myself messing around with a 30k+ truck. It fits perfectly in the sunglasses holder.

    Check Build thread
Are the switches from Amazon too?

And do the logos light up on the switches if your headlights/fogs are on or only when the switch gets turned on?

The panel comes with switches already. The switches have a blue backlighting that comes on when you turn on the switch. It matches the interior very well.

You replaced your traction control for lights? If I'm seeing the picture right that is.

reviving old thread, how does the backlighting work. Is this integrated into you DRL's or is the backlighting just on when the bar is on?

    Thanks

when i installed mine, I tied in the lights to the dash lights, so they back lights came on when the headlights turned on, and then there was an indicator light that illuminated when I turned the light bar on, that was tied to the relay in the engine compartment.

it's illegal to drive with front facing reds. That's an emergency services color for front facing.

I know it's California code, forward facing solid burning red is considered code 3 (emergency response) but I think other states have different rules.
