I'm just gonna use Kevlar fiberglass for my mall crawler cuts down on all the weight but strong enough to withstand cig butts and bottle caps in the parking lots

You wouldnt believe the carnage I have on our 3/16" thick steel skids. Installed and went to Rausch, they did their job but damn are they tore up!

Think ill throw a 1/4" plate on the front. The other twk arent bad. The first plate taking all the hits didnt last.

How's the fitment on those? Do they have the correct hub bore or do you need trim rings for it to center on the hub?

Hub-centric. Perfect fit. They're made for toyotas specifically.

As far as thickness, I don't think anything to crazy thick is necessary since Your right I don't hit the Rock trails to hard still. Any recommendations there chief ? :)

installed the shocks last night. the resi hoses aren't as long as my icons, so I have to relocate the reservoir mounts on the frame. in the mean time I have the resis secured with the piggyback mounts. complete blowout on the Icon. they did a great job for 7 years and will be missed.

3/16" with some reinforcement will be fine.

i'll take reinforced 3/16 over flat 1/4 plate any day. lighter and stronger. a little bit of engineering goes a long way.

Free to good home. AVS (194768) in-channel smoke vent shades fro Gen 3 DC (4 door). Local pick up, willing to meet within reason in Northern Anne Arundel County.

Mounted once and removed after about a week. You will have to replace the 2 sided tape. should be easy to find.
