Some progress, ended up mounting it differently than originally thought. Better this way just have to go and get some more bolts now. Taking a water break because it's only 10:20 here and 81 in the shade but I'm in the sun.....

    And finished product!

Here's how I mounted it. Rubber washer, normal washer, wing nut. No silicon yet, I'll see how it does when it rains. 4 bolts in total

Just need to get the water rotopax and the mounts

Thanks! It's awesome to finally use the damn rack for something

Yeah it was an option in the Kickstarter for $20 extra I think. So I could've paid $150 for them without the mount. The first way I was going to mount I'd rather not use the damn thing, the screws were keeping the TRED from being flush. So I moved some stuff around and it's worked. So far so good

That's awesome! I didn't even think of it till I saw @Mad T had water in his. So that's why I asked. We shall see how they hold up

Also went to make sure I can still fit in parking garages so I took some pics.

Just need the rotopax mounts and the water one then I'll have the rack just about done. But I'll wait one that, trying not to spend too much money since I'll be going to Colorado in 2 weeks.

This is what I decided to put in the Plano

Most of it came from my toolbox so now I'll have more room for my camping stuff and not have to bring a tub with me now. :D

    You need two things...

    1. A solar unit
    2. BIGGER tires

That's why I put it on the passenger side! Most of my gear is that way, I have my hi-lift mounted that side too

Don't know what I'd use a solar unit for, I can charge my phone with my head unit and that's all I would need I think.

I know I know! Next spring when it's tax time I'm getting regeared, SCS rims and 285s :D

Solar unit to keep the battery charged on long trips, or for when you get an fridge/freezer and you don't want to kill the battery.

Nice...but Go BIG or Go Home! Get some MT/Rs in either 33x12.5s or 35x12.5s!

    Come on!
Actually i haven't ate through CVs.

I did however learn on a double diamond hill that if you ride a wheelie on 37s and don't hit the clutch on your way down then you'll strip your spider gears.

I think I'll just stick to 35s at max on IFS. 37s would be cool, but only if I did a straight axle up front first. I'm more inclined to do Dana 60s and 40s more than anything though.

I'm only joking on that. When i SAS i'll be going to 40s.
I would vote 35s for ya though
