Use the bushing arms and make a jig first

Yeah I'm making a jig for them, I just don't know how much to trim down where I can adjust the heims without bottoming out or running out of thread. Or better yet, what is a safe amount of threads to leave exposed compared to the bushing arms for future adjustments. I'm trying to gain a bit of caster and less camber.

Too much Camber means the arms are short right? So when setting the bungs on the tube to mark your cut have the hiem bottomed in the Bung with the jam nut with like one turn backed off. That's pretty much what I did when I made my hiemed uppers and it came out good( I had the same problem too much camber). You got to remember there's quite a bit of adjustment in those rod ends, I'm sure there's a scientific way but that's how I did it and it works

I'll take that into consideration, where I begin to doubt myself is when I begin to add caster. Don't want to expose too much on the front heim and bottom out the rear heim. I just checked and about 11/16" thread engagement is the minimum so I can probably take an extra 1/4" to 3/8" on the rear bung given the heim has 1-3/4" of thread on them. I guess college does pay off.

About 6*, right now IIRC it is at 2* or 3* and it wanders a tad much on the highway

got my urd intake in the mail today! no instructions on install but im guessin its pretty straight forward.. pretty much attach it to the intake manifold and mark where it needs to be cut on the core support then bolt it up..IMG_3866[1].jpg

worst intake ever for an offroad truck. Exposed to everything and enough heavy rain will choke the motor out...ask me how I know. Best intake on these trucks is still stock with the paper filter.

I stared at my truck forever trying to figure out how I wanted the tube to rest next to the cab. The next fun part is the C pillar section. I had 5 tubes intersect one point. Then you scratch your head for a few minutes how to weld between the back of the cab and the cage. But your side door opens.

when you guys got new wheels and tires.. did you take the TPMS off the stock and get the reseal kit to add them to the new wheel set or just forget about it and not run the sensors?
