Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I would take at look at the inside of your front wheels to make sure they aren't making contact with a caliper

Probably have the wrong backspacing on your wheels.

Find empty parking lot, turn until you hear it, stop and look at what's touching.

Good chance you're rubbing the plastic fender liner.

Did that test before I read your comment. It's rubbing on the plastic on the bumper. Any trimming tips?

It's likely rubbing on plastic covering the pinch weld (behind the wheels). Mine did the same thing, I have stock size tires/wheels but the wheels are aftermarket and the spacing isn't right.

I bent back the pinch weld as much as I could which helped some, but most people end up cutting it back using a special tool for cutting metal.

I didn't have to go that route because when I lifted my truck 1.5" in the front with 5100s/OME 881s the tires now clear the pinch weld and no more rubbing.

I'm curious to what your backspacing is because I'm about to pull the trigger on some 16x8.5 with -6 backspace wrapped in 285/75r16s. The guy at discount tire direct said it would fit perfect for my 04 TRD. I know I'll have to trim some. Tell us what you found the issue to be OP.

Mine are -6 backspacing as well, fits perfect. My front bumper just tilts downward where the bumper meets the fender for some reason, I'll post pics in another thread. The tires were catching on that which was causing the noise. Took some tin snips to it and cut it just a little bit, all is well now. No more noise. I guess my old tires were so worn down that it didn't catch it before.

You'll end up rubbing when you hit a bump or compress the suspension. Your front end might be sagging a bit. Do what i did, ignore it

In the industry is referred to as "self clearancing". :) Backspacing is usually one ofthe issues. If you move the wheels out to clear the frame etc you can often end up with tires that no longer tuck info the wheelwells properly.
