Didn't want to run into running issues. My wife daily drives it. I think 275 is fine for a mall crawler. A little taller tire would be a bit nicer.

So i'm lifted 2.5" in the back on stock shocks and i'd like to upgrade. Not looking for $1800 Icon shocks even though they are very sexy. Just looking for something better than stock and of course a little longer. Recommendations?

I was looking at the 5100 but it seems they are lisred as 0-1 inched of lift. Do you have a PN for the shocks made for 2-3 inches?

Thank you. I know both products are great, not worried about the small difference in price, just want opinions on which is better and why.

Fox is going to be valved to react faster such as off road or on washboards and won't heat fade as fast. Bilstein are the same as OE off road just longer

I'll very rarely see off road and nothing extreme. I think I'm going to go with Fox either way though.

Hey what about boots for them? I guess i'm old school, I like boots on my shocks or something to protect them. I'm a hydraulic mechanic, I replace cylinders with damaged rods all the time. I'd like to avoid that.

Shouldn't need boots with the shaft facing down, but in sure toytec could hook you up with boots if you give them a call.

Since you seem to be a wealth of knowledge on this subject, does Fox make a replacement shock for the front that'll reuse the stock coil and not offer any lift? Just basically a stock upgrade is all I need. Overall id like to improve the ride quality if possible and I think this will make a big difference.

Nah not worth it to me. I'll probably just go with a 5100 up front or find a set of low mileage stock TRD front springs/shocks and throw them in. The back is just harsh with the lift, rides very hard now and I think the shocks are a big part of it.
