Well, I bought some new wheels and tires yesterday, after installing, they caught on the plastic bumper liner that holds the turn signals. Trimmed them up, and the problem is fixed, however this has made me finally decide to attempt to fix the bumpers downward angle. Does anyone know how? I tried tightening the bolts to no avail. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Pics are attached of of the angles and bumper gap.

You need to move the bumper forward of the grill with a spacer of some sort. You will have to do trial and error to get it right. The real fix is....buy a aftermarket bumper.

    ^^^This.

Even if you fix it it's going to do it again. You need more room up there in the form of a new bumper. What size tire are you running?

Looks like you need some lift or smaller tires.

Those are not stock..They are oversized. Look at the data panel on the front door drivers door jam.

I thought stock on 1st gen was a 235? It was on my 2000. I agree with Yota need some lift to run those and you can avoid the aftermarket bumper.

I don't think toyota would include recommended PSI for oversized tires.

Not all 265/70/16's are the same size. Buddy of mine had a set of Yokohama 285's and I'm Running Nitto 285's. His tires were huge compared to mine. I had to actually look and see if they installed the wrong size on his.

Well according to that STICKER, your tires should be a 26PSI. Your tires are over inflated. LOL!!!

It looks like you got hit in the front and that has deformed your bumper. I don't think you'll be able fix that without replacing the bumper and mounting brackets.

Bumper itself is bent. You can try taking it off and bending it back but your better off just buying a new one. Aftermarket oe replacements are cheap but it wont be color matched.

Mine is like that but not so drastic. You can only really tell if you know its there. The previous owner hit something very lightly. I have not tried to fix it since its not noticeable and isn't bothering me. I'm running 265/75/R16's which are the absolute maximum one can get away with (they almost scrape the back mudflap brackets) and they aren't even close to hitting the front bumper.

X2 bumper is bent... No fixing that without removing it and attempting to straighten somehow.

Looks like there is a dent in the front of the bumper to me
