I crawled through the drive through bank teller lane today, damn near scratched my mirror on those damn yellow posts!

 

Need some advice everyone - a coworker has an 07 prerunner and his driver side visor broke. Are there any wrecking yards in the valley that might have 2nd gen parts? I checked aara with not much luck and also called several places but no joy. Not even a referral. I figured ebay or dealer were his only options but just wanted to verify here first.

 

He could trade in and get a 4x4

 

I have those yellow posts at the exit of my parking garage at work. I've almost clipped them so many times with the hoops on my front bumper, it's not even funny

My GTI is a 2009, last year of the Mk5, with the new TSI motor which has the big injectors and high pressure fuel pump (DI). Swap to a bigger turbo, South Bend clutch, Quaife limited slip and APR software and 330 hp on the dyno at the tires not crank. Lots of fun to drive and still 28 - 30 mpg. Makes a great daily driver so the Tacoma can be for when I need a truck.

Smells like gasoline under the hood and Smokey in back. At 75k miles I plan to get many more years out of her.

 

Was talking to a customer about tacomas today and was going to tell him about TW. Then he told me he traded his 4x4 15' in for a 16' 2wd. For his own safety I didn't tell him about TW

 

Yet another reason I am proud to live in Arizona.
