Kinda quiet around these parts... Went up to Syracuse for the weekend to visit my sis and her kiddos. Good times.

So who's in for the undercarriage fluid film thing???!!

Only got two peeps so far. Let's get more people in!!!

 

Date for fluid film = Sun Aug 28th. I'll be available in the morning 9-noon. Let me know how will make it. I'm in granby Ct and it's $45 per truck. I recommend removing the plastic trim on the tailgate so the inner metal gets coated. I'll send out a reminder a week in advance for a final head count.

 

So far we have myself and @jc11taco89 on the list.

I'm good for the 28th, so you can count me in. Hopefully that date works as well for him and more peeps will jump on it!

Saw a red Taco on 84 yesterday in Danbury, a little after 5, pre 2012 because of the front end, with either powder coated or dipped black wheels. Anyone here?!

 

never seen that one but I've been seeing 2 in the Bristol area and three both wicked nice one was flat black with a full radius light bar on the roof and the other is a mgm with roof rack

 

I just noticed u have a nice plate bumper where did u get it from and how hard is the install

 

Welcome to CT I myself aren't very familiar with that area the aquarium in mystic is kinda cool and the beaches out that way are pretty nice and the only other thing I can think of is the coast guard museum in new London

 

oh ya almost that time of year getting all my stands ready

S&P oyster house is always good for the view and seafood. It's a little touristy, Flanders fish market is another good spot but less of a view. Have fun

so I'm pretty excited I picked up a cb from one of my truck driver buddies at work. And then Monday I should be receiving my new 22in led light bar andmy new led 4inX4in pods pretty eexcited to get it all here and start driving myself nuts with wiring haha.
The cb and the Glock 30s that's not new however

awesome so now where up to 3 of us. plan on just hitting the undercarriage with a pressure washer before hand

Ya know I was looking thru a thread the other day and read that the fluid film turns a white-ish color residue that ssupposedly looks like (shit) according to one of the folks in the thread I can't recall the thread but I'll try and find it and get a better quote. Either way I'm still in I believe the fellow who had said this didn't reside in the north east up here with our winter conditions and Toyota's past issues with frame rust im willing to sacrifice a possible white residue for the added protection from rust

 

I did my FJ and it didn't turn white

 

Awesome great to hear and I had only heard of this that one time. Is this your first time using it ? I'm curious to know how it holds up to a NE winter and that road treatment shit that eats frames for breakfast lunch and dinner hahaha
