That's great to hear man, been wanting icons but heard with the extended travel ones the light racing uppers aren't gunna work. Also I might just buy some of those holders soon! And yeah pelfrey has the one where the sway bar mounts, might look into yours for more support

I'm an idiot when it comes to electrical stuff Andy. So I'm gonna probe your mind a little more:

My solenoid "kit" came with a cheap 3-wire in-dash switch, with good instructions on wiring to my under hood solenoid (top high tech diagram). I then went ahead and ordered a cool looking switch (still cheap, but looks cool) from Amazon (bottom diagram.) But now it has four wires that baffle me completely. Especially since there are two that are both red.

Using the lower photo with wires marked for color:
    B (black, presumably ground wire)
R1 (Red 1, next to Black)
R2 (Red 2, next to Green)
    G (Green)

Keeping in mind I have an IQ of zero for electrical skill/brain power, can you tell be which wires go where? You advised that "the green and red next to each other are the + - for the switch light." Where do I connect those wires?

Again no rush. Probably looking to finish up this wiring in a couple of weeks.

Your highly esteemed "CVYota build" fan base is welcome to provide input as well.

Ah, you changed switches. You may have the wrong type of switch for you application . Why kind of switch came with the device, it might be a momentary on switch, if it is the light switch won't work.

EDIT: Finally figured it out: Grn = Ignition Power, Red1 = Solenoid, Red2 = Dash "on" circuit, Blk = Ground.

Andy- The original switch is a regular rocker switch. Definitely not a momentary switch. I'm guessing that the 4th wire is somehow related to illuminating the switch even when it's in the "off" position so its easily located on the dash while in the dark? The problem is two of the wires are red. Which goes where?
Hoping for input from @Crom - or anybody pretty good with electrical stuff.
    Thanks.

If green is ignition then I would guess on a 4 lead switch the 2nd red is for the switch light

Yup. Exactly this. Thanks for the follow up Andy. A couple days ago, I found the wiring diagram deep in the bowels of the interwebz. I'm glad, because my first guess was wrong. I assumed that Red1 wire was for the ignition power.

Started working on the awning again, here are the connectors for the softopper buckles.

I had gotten rear ended a couple of years back and the tailgate was pushed in along with the bedsides, they straightened them out as best they could but I always worried about cracking them during offroading. Total Chaos has bed stiffeners for the back corners. For about $150 shipped you get these, very nice looking
    20160909_132355.jpg

I installed them in about half an hour, you have to drill 3 holes, and one of the holes is behind a brace behind the tail light, but still an easy install.20160909_140306.jpg
The sides were a little tweaked and I had to adjust the striker plates so the tailgate wasn't loose. The main thing is more stability for the bedsides when offraoding.

I go through low range off road in Utah, which is funny because TC is about 50 miles from me.

Andy, here is a pic of your BAMF rear diff skid and exhaust chop mod for your build. :)

    I hope you don't mind.

Are you able to pass smog in CA with it like that? Mine is chopped after rear hanger and the tech didn't seem to mind.
