@Crom thanks for the PDF. After I lifted the truck and forget to mark the alignment cams, my alignment was horrible causing the VSC light to stay on. I followed that procedure and it worked perfectly with no light so far. A couple points I'll make for anyone else doing attempting this fix:

    1. The diagram for the OBD2 or DLC3 port is upside down compared to in the truck, so when looking for the terminals to jump make sure you count from the right side over and not the left.

    2. Once you figure out which terminals you need to jump, get two small paper clips (non colored) and put one in each terminal. Then for the first step you simply touch them together 4 or more times in 8 secs.

For the calibration step I just went to one paper clip and jumped the two terminals. Once complete the lights did not come back on and I'm happy. So thanks again guys for figuring this out.

I'm having to re calibrate the yaw after an alignment.
The Trac control is locked out and the vehicle with squiggly line light stays on.
    I have a 2013 Tacoma
I can't read the file ( instructions) Crom attached to do this because when I click on it , all I see is computer talk , symbols .
I did read other information on this using the number 4 and 12 pins. But that was an older 4Runner instruction PDF.
I don't want to just jump them until I'm sure I have it correct , otherwise I might create a Bigger problem...$$$$
Can I get some help ? I sure would appreciate it

I just got an alignment and my light is on.

Holding the trac button for three seconds does nothing.

I bridged the obd port, turned the ignition on, and the ABS light flashed (quickly). Then I turned the ignition off and pulled the bridge wire out. Turn back on- light is still on.

Now what? Someone chime in here. Thing makes me uncomfortable being on.

Bringing up an old thread but this worked for my 2015 today after the alignment shop couldn't recalibrate it.

I’m getting this on my code reader.

    7D0A224E-BDDF-4FEF-B926-E06396343B47.jpg

This on the dash. Don’t mind the tire light. No TPMS

I’ve already successfully reset the ECU via the jumper method. According to the blinks anyway.

Is there another step to initialize the steering angle sensor? Anyone know? @Crom

I should note that I did a 1” body lift and 37s over the winter. I had the steering shaft apart during the body lift.

I'm having the same code on my 14 after doing the zero point several times. Did you figure it out?

The PDF file w/ the SAS and/or VSC recalibrate procedure for 2nd gens posted earlier in this thread is dead / gone. So is the link to another forum (not TW) with similar info.

Can anyone attach a copy of the PDF file to a reply in this thread here on TW? Thanks.
