AJT Design key fob

Does anyone have an AJT Design key fob case? How do you like it? They look great but the $36 price tag seems doubled what it should be. I'm having a hard time justifying spending that much on a piece of plastic and some screws.

It's sturdy as all hell. Lately it's seemed bulky to me. Probably because my daily drive civic has literally one key on the key ring. Nice product though.

 

Would love to get one! But yes price is a little steep.

 

It's sturdy and probably won't ever break but I honestly I think it looks like butthole. The color and consistency just isn't that great, in my opinion.

 

What is the purpose of this device?

To protect your fob from getting damaged

 

I'm kinda with OP on this. It looks cool but $36 to protect an item I've never before damaged on any vehicle I've ever had seems a touch high.

 

I love it. I kept snapping the loop on my stock fob so this was a no brainier for me

 

Cool gauge trim paint. Just use a factory color touch up pen?

 

Nah I pulled them out and used rustoleum orange. One day I'll repaint for oem inferno but it looks great on my black truck.

I love the scheme so much I got a custom yeti rambler made to match

Your fob isn't inside this either. It wasn't explained well to me but you take the guts out of your oem fob and put it inside this.

 

But the real question is who has a 3D printer and can make these for half that price in the group

I guess if you really want to protect your FOB, you can always get one of these. A lot cheaper.

Nope just the internals drop in. And I bet it's more water resistant

 

Thanks for the link, just ordered. I have the AJT shift knob and am very happy with that purchase but personally no need for the fob products. I have the silicone covers for wife's car but not my tacoma, don't know why I never bought one.
