Yeah, the 4runner is more expensive. My base Trail Ed. is about $1500- more than a DCSB OR A/T, factored in all the discounts for both here in MN

Technically I don't "need" the bed because I have a trailer, but it sure is handy for bikes.

I miss my dclb. I was shopping for a dcsb 'cause I have a 6x10 enclosed trailer now but I think the dclb looks well balanced.

The 2015 is a beautiful truck. I hope you get the squeak resolved.

There was tsb for the 2nd gen that came out in 2009. I would have been able to get new leafs before my 36k mile warranty was up. I actually had the dealer order the parts already, but made a last minute decision keep the original ones I had since they were working fine and I didn't want a harsher ride. For my needs, I'm glad I didn't get the tsb done.

    Here's that old post...https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/deciding-against-suspension-tsb.57206/page-3#post-1151832

No, please don't stop being helpful... We reaLLy NEED your (& all of you brilliant engine-knowing Bad asses!) brains! I cant tell you how many times this site has came through and been the Blazing sunshine in my storm (with me stuck under the worst cloud, in the cold, dark night, all alone on some deserted dirt road somewhere.... broke down. Oh, the agony!)! Seriously though, I mean it. Do not underestimate the value of even 1 comment that relates some information. Sometimes that 1 comment is what will make all the difference in someones experience.

So knock your guy's shit off and go help someone (that's the moral here ;)) Thank you [insert kissey face here, since these little guys are missing the kissey face one, cant imagine why!]

Is it just the people or does the truck have something to do with it? The truck is the common denominator and I don't recall this number of negative threads for previous generations (I like my 2014 a lot, with a few minor complaints/annoyances). Just something to consider...

No, I think I derailed my own thread...got me thinking, maybe the reason I keep coming back is because I'm still thinking about my old 07.

I think its this site. I have owned a 2000 taco, 2005 tacoma xrunner and was on a bunch of tacoma sites back in the day and NONE of them came close to the amount of BS thrown around here and attacking because someone has a new model. So the 2nd gen owners here must just be a bunch of sandy vagina butt hurt owners who just want to complain and act all high and mighty.
