More shit then I ever planned on doing
Mine took a shit last week. It was just some relay so it was only $300. Hella happy it wasn't the unit that went out.

I have a portable you can borrow. Won't cool the house down but it can handle a room.

Wow! That's pretty awesome! I seem to have got it going....my google supplied hvac skills determined it's the fan capacitor. As long as I kickstart the fan, it runs fine.

I really appreciate the offer though! We've never even met!

    I'm blown away right now.

TW is apparently more than just our Tacomas.

AC in a house, they have such a thing? Haha

I'm here getting scolded for turning the pool heater off and letting it get cold at 75 degrees...

No problem! I know I wouldn't want to be stuck with no AC.

Ugh I'm so worried about it. Haven't seen my pg&e bill yet but it's not going to be pretty.

I think if it was just the pool it probably would've been ok. But the pool and AC running together forget about it!

    Shameless self promotion...

Pretty proud of myself for finishing the Alcatraz Swim this morning. Time was about 50% slower than it was 18 years ago when I was in tip top shape. But I also veered east a bit too far and had to swim against the 400 yard breakwater to reach the aquatic park opening. My whole plan was just to finish, got way outta shape with daddyhood... Oh yeah, NO WETSUIT!! Now I need a beer

Edit - Spared you guys the full body speedo shot  :bananadead:

    That's f-ing awesome Brett!

I swam across my sister's unheated pool last weekend- about 50' long. I was seriously winded.
Can't even imagine doing what you did.

Just remember they don't have a high torque yield. I use them on a weekly basis for work/projects. They are awesome for low weight/low torque applications.

Totally understand. I've never used them before today, so I was a rivnut virgin. Unlike the time I tried to copy videos as a virgin, this went exactly as planned....

On to the next rivnut project:

Camper jack mounts & 2x4's propping it up. Time to start drilling.
