    Same boat here. It was nice because a guy that worked out at the gym I go to holds the national (maybe world?) record for his age and weight. Pulls 570 and weighs 165 lbs and was in the 40-44 age range. He was giving me a few tips here and there but ended up taking a new job and I haven't seen him around as much. So now I am relying on shit I read on the Internet for tips

    That's a pretty good pull. A lot of people say squats and deads are essentially the same motion but I disagree haha. Or maybe it's just me and my own personal form.

    I initially had a lower back injury from leg pressing. I reinjured it from deadlifting. It's not worth it I don't really compete. Also idgaf

    My old workout partner hurt his back deadlifting so he was always out on days I did it then he would start with light weight, like just the bar, and just go slow. He would eventually get some weight on it and inevitably reaggrevate it. Now he just does goblet squats and that's about as close as he will get to a dead again.

    I get a good stretch from straight legged dumbbell dl. For my lower back I'll do hyper extensions sometimes.

    All this injury talk reminds me why I don't lift. Two shoulder surgerys 10 years ago and when I think about throwing something or shoulder pressing my should give me a spasm.

    Drinking tonight for the first time since last semester (did real good this summer minus one or two pool days where I drank 1 or 2 natty lights). Adios gains for today, did backnbi's earlier. I've been trying to drink a glass of water between every 2 beers or so.

    We have lift off ladies. The day is over. The last has went and came. It was a stupid but valiant effort but I am done and can officially say that will never happen again. It wasn't even fun nor cheap. Total for the day was just under 100.00 and so much waste.

    Still small, but I lift on Tues, Thurs, Sat.

    A,B,A - B,A,B

    A: Zercher Squats, Flat Bench, Inverted Row, Calf Raise, Dumbbell Pull Over

    B: Romainian Dead Lift, Inclined Bench, Curls, Crunches On Declined Bench, Side Laterals

    Right now I'm nearing the end of a slow cut, trying to get my lower abs to show. Scale says 10% body fat, mirror says about 13%.

    Not sure how serious it was, but definitely let that heal lol I was in physical therapy for six months after mine and still ended up reinjuring it trying to pitch. Kind of my fault but it really felt like it was healed...turns out it wasn't.
