I want to replace my windshield washer spray nozzle with one that has more of a fan pattern rather than the original with 2 straight streams. Has anyone done this to their 1st generation, and what parts did you use for the replacement.

your best bet is to find a car that sparys them in the fan shape. most likely a newer car, a pricer one too, like a bmw, or mecr. Then go to a dealer and buy new ones as used just is not going to happen with a part like this. should be no more than 20 dollars for both, then jerry rig them on with some kind of glue.

The 2ng gens do spray fan shape, but a benz or merc. would be even better. i seen the 2nd gen nozzles there better than ours, but my sisters friends audi has 2 sprayers and it covers the HOLE DAMN WINDSHEILD where they spray it its so cool.

Our Suburban has the washers on the wipers themselves, its pretty cool. It sprays really even.

I believe the aftermarket ones at Autozone spray in a fan pattern, i'll have to check and get back to ya'll. They're plain black, nothing gaudy, and only like ten bucks. The only drawback is they're definitely larger than the originals.

    Here they are

Their package claims they have a fan pattern and the nozzles appear to be adjustable. Just eyeballing them they seem to be about the same size as the originals, maybe a bit bigger. The part number is AM-800 and should be available at any autozone or whoever else carries pilot brand stuff.
